We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed as a partner of Kent County Council through their new Highways, Transportation and Waste Professional Services Framework.
The three-year contract will see Project Centre deliver highways, engineering and transportation projects. The Kent framework is to support the Council in delivering its strategic objectives and better outcomes for Kent’s residents. This is in addition to communities and businesses.
Kent County Council’s Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, Michael Payne, said: “This is good news for Kent. Through this new contract we can get access to the best technical advice and innovation in the industry at very competitive rates whilst helping local business.”
Moreover, Project Centre’s Managing Director, Keith Hanshaw, commented: “I am delighted that we have been selected for Kent’s Professional Service Framework. Kent is seeing a wealth of investment and regeneration. This will continue to transform the area into a thriving destination for residents and visitors. We have already been working on designs for Herne Relief Road. Also, we have been working on social distancing measures for Margate, Gravesend, Ashford and Tonbridge. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Kent County Council and the district councils in future projects.”
Furthermore, our Divisional Director, Mary Gillett, will be opening an office in Ashford. Project Centre’s Highways and Transportation team will be based there. Project Centre are also recruiting for engineering vacancies which can be found on our website.
